Scapa Healthcare Breaks Ground on Hardin Business Park Manufacturing Facility

The new operation is expected to create more than 100 new jobs in Knox County over the next five years.

A new 152,000 square foot, $31 million facility will provide the company’s bonding products and adhesive components to healthcare and industrial customers.

Eastbridge Sewer Line Extension Grant Awarded

 A Tennessee Site Development grant was awarded to the Development Corporation for the extension of a wastewater treatment line and pumping station at Eastbridge Businesss Park.

Fairview tenant Peroxygen preps for wood-pulp market:

Wastewater pump and extended sewer lines will serve three industrial sites totaling 121 acres in the park.

At UT reseearcher will setup shop at the Fairview Technology Center and work to bring a newly patented process to market. Peroxygen Systems' new process to produces hydrogen peroxide for the wood-pulp industry will reduce costs for the valuable bleaching agent.
